I’ve been making this recipe for years and now it’s built with Astro!
Cool URLs don’t change, they just get more Astro-y.

Software encodes values, so choose what you value when you start a project!
It was important that Starlight had full internationalisation support when we launched and we just got a PR for our THIRTIETH built-in language. I appreciate everyone who has contributed translations to the project — it’s one of my favourite things to see. ![]()
Excited to see @hippo@m.webtoo.ls’s Expressive Code launch its docs site!

Expressive Code is an amazing, framework-agnostic library for displaying beautiful code snippets in your sites. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
It’s nice when you go from “idea!💡” to “oh, not as difficult as expected” to “it worked!”
I wanted to display little inline previews of CSS colors in code blocks (kind of how code editors do) in some docs, and decided to try and make an Expressive Code plugin to do it and… it just worked!
Shout out to @hippo@m.webtoo.ls for making a plugin API as nice as this 💅
