@freakboy3742@cloudisland.nz completely agree. In addition my father gave me similar advice about my resume that I want to share. He told me not to use small font size on my resume (I was using size 8 to fit everything in one page) because most hiring managers are older and would have trouble reading the resume especially if they printed it out. Now years later I see the validity of the statement because I face that problem when people use small fonts in their resume.

@micr0@wetdry.world Thanks for the explanation. I was thinking of something more like being able to tell the system that I am going to be out for the next two weeks (as an example) and having it disable the checks for the two weeks and then auto reenable the checks post that. That way I wouldn't have to remember to reenable it after I am back

@micr0@wetdry.world This is pretty cool and interesting. Does it take into account people going on vacation or visiting someplace with limited connectivity? 'cause I travel a lot and some of it is to places where I don't have reliable internet and I wouldn't want everyone to panic because I missed a check in due to connectivity issues.

@mattblaze@federate.social I feel your pain... Have the same issue here and have to drive a couple of hours outside the city to get night sky photos that are not a white haze.

@fossunited@mas.to this seems like something we should be pushing in India as part of the foss push. I didn't see any events/places happening in India on the site (https://endof10.org/) Happy to volunteer for events in Bangalore. @jmaris@eupolicy.social @kde@floss.social

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt wow! Beautiful

@Daojoan This is so true... Well said

@diffractie@glitterkitten.co.uk I am going to use this one when I forget someone's name again.

@MarkHoltom@mastodonapp.uk hahaha... This is an awesome prank to play on someone... Love it.
