Well, what with the closed walls for the moment, I'll poke my head in here to announce that I've completely shaved my face for only the second time in my life this afternoon.
This time, it was very much the right decision.

Too femme to be masc, to butch to be femme, to quiet to be butch, too queer to be quiet.
Follow requests turned on to weed out spam. I might or might not follow back, just have to keep my reading lists under control, but I love my queertrans peeps.

As soon as my eyes read the words “let that sink in” in your online screed, I stop reading. I don’t need that trash in my head.
@sophie@thetransagenda.gay @FinalGirl@blackqueer.life I just about got pregnant and lost my shoes watching the first half of that video. And then I noped right the heck out of that white pioneer nostalgia trap box.
@WeirdWriter@caneandable.social I'm in the East Bay Area, CA, and there are a number of good indie bookstores, but most of them aren't also cafe type places... or, on the flip side, a number of good coffee/tea shops, but books are secondary at best. My life tends to revolve around different social areas (circus, a lot, when I'm not at work) these days, but when I was younger and in school, I'd seek out the good lounging coffee shops as much as I could. And I still sometimes let my mind imagine the ideal cafe/bookstore, and I have to say, reading this, I was bringing many of those images to mind.
@WeirdWriter@caneandable.social @RussSharek@mastodon.art um... wow. Russ isn't the only one crying here. That was beautiful, and I can feel the warmth and comfort of Jarvis' shop. May it stay that way for a long, long time.
