You should be able to add a document tab to a spreadsheet

Writing prose in spreadsheet cells is ugly and awkward and why have we just tolerated it for so long?

Unpopular opinion: #hyperbole and overstated statistics just for shock and #attention value does not in any way help your #message, it only #discredits it

That was a pretty good half. I can't be mad about that half. That #penalty was bullshit, btw.

Here's how you tell something is a #bubble.

With literally any other #corporate #investment, such as #stock, investors demand that you *increase #profit* year over year, quarter after quarter -- or they're out.

When it's a bubble, that same investor class will buy, and buy, and hold, and buy, and buy, after year after year of negative #profitability. And they will keep putting in more.

The only time #investors are ever #long is when it's a bubble.

#ai

can we talk about how even before #AI, the #tech #industry was dumbing down the populace?

I'm talking about #apps. Most apps that are based on #websites are unequivocal crap and the website is far better.

People can't even do basic computer things anymore, they need someone to make an app for it. You don't even hardly see photoshops anymore. Candy Crush type games have replaced things like WoW. Etc

Even before AI, the public's #computer abilities have been steadily eroded.

One of my recent hobbies has been to feed complete #gibberish and garbage into #AI #prompts and seeing what they make.

Stay Human Radio: The 25-Year Anniversary Tribute

"There is a lot of fear and uncertainty out there, and I feel like people are trying hard not to lose themselves in it. Back then, that music was a lifeline that helped us stay connected to our humanity. I believe we need that energy again right now."

@subjam $50 is a bit steep for something that is mostly a curiosity. I think they could stand to bring that number down. Or let it come with a few free months of the subscription. #telehamster

my coworker is implementing #FeatureFlags in our project and it's a big #diff.

him: Please #CodeReview, but I'm not going to #merge it in just yet

me: You could always put it behind a feature flag, and... oh

him: that actually made me crack up

One of the stats they track in #GaelicFootball is "Kickouts Won," or how often a goal kick was first collected by the same team as the keeper.

If they tracked that in #soccer, I think #quakes numbers would be absolutely in the tank tonight
