T-Mobile GSM Shutdown Livestreams / Brief Info
T-Mobile is retiring their legacy GSM network tonight, with rumors of an exact time of 6:00AM in each time zone (rolling shutdown from east to west coast). If you're interested in monitoring it, here are some SDR / phone-view livestreams from each time zone:
Eastern:
- @Tech86807@www.youtube.com (Tech86 / YouTube)
- https://www.twitch.tv/chipmacro (chipmacro / Twitch)
Central:
- @UltraATA@www.youtube.com (UltraATA / YouTube) (SDR)
Mountain:
- @tempest074@www.youtube.com (tempest074 / YouTube) (SDR)
Pacific:
- @mobilephonesandtech@www.youtube.com ( u/MCDiamond9 / YouTube ) (SDR)
- @Mainshenan@www.youtube.com (Patch a.k.a. / YouTube) (SDR)
- @Retro2gphonest-mobile@www.youtube.com (Paisios a.k.a. u/PayCompetitive7975 / YouTube)
Most of the SDR livestreams should have a DVR if you want to watch the shutdown after the fact. Enjoy!
