If Charles Dickens was alive today, he would be writing some bloody good books about tech oligarchs.

Your job is a toxic relationship.

Don't be loyal to them.
They are literally abusing you.

Someone actually posted this garbled alphabet soup pig swill slop to LinkedIn, supposedly assuming that it would help their career. This muck is what is passing as "quality content" these days. It's like somebody dictated while drunk and drowning to a room full of monkeys with typewriters. Look closely at it. Especially the right hand side. The person who posted this rubbish is a self-proclaimed "AI Coach". For fuck's sake. This is how Civilisation dies. Not with a bang. Not with a whimper. But with a cacophony of plopping thunder dumplings.

You can download all of Wikipedia.
The (only?) way to do it, is through a free & open source app called "kiwix".
The file is a highly compressed format called ".zim"
The most recent downloadable English version (with pictures) is 115.5 Gib, dated February 2026.
It fits on a 128 GB exFAT microSD (ie. 119 GiB).

A busy, stressed person makes bad decisions. I'll repeat. Busy, stressed persons make fucked-up decisions. This is a fundamental fact of human psychology. Now, consider the business world, and corporations' demands upon every single worker. Yeah. #RealityBites

I know what's going to cause the collapse of civilisation and all of humanity to regress back to the Stone Age:
AI's being given total control over the world's infrastructure, after being trained on the US date format mm/dd/yyyy.

That single fucking idiotic, incorrigible stupidity is going to cause every single physical system on Earth to fail catastrophically, and every single Data Centre to overheat and burn down.

Many religious people criticise Atheism because Atheism lacks an "objective morality" (ie. a simple set of rules).

These same people then give other professed believers of their faith a free pass to behave however they want - ie. The Rules don't actually matter to the members of the religion.

Eg. Many, many USA Christians behave and feel perfectly entitled to swap the Ten Commandments with the Seven Mortal Sins, and feel absolutely no twinge of doubt, zero guilt or cognitive dissonance about that.

The problem with having a set of rules as your "objective morality" is that no set of rules can be exhaustive and cover all possible use-cases.

"Real" morality might not be circumscribable - it needs to stay somewhat malleable, and grow and change with life experiences and maturity, to help guide behaviour through life.

So, that argument from Religious people about why religion is "good" and atheism is "bad" is not worth the paper it's written on.
