@alice@lgbtqia.space I find after reading a story like this, I like to watch the video of two drunken thugs pick a fight with two people in drag, unfortunately for the thugs, the people in drag are cage fighters on a night out. Instant karma.

@elena The whole push for Ai reminds me of this podcast about how cars were pushed on American cities, and look how that worked out. Well worth a listen https://thewaroncars.org/2025/11/11/episode-161-the-creation-of-americas-car-culture/

@bensunshine I really liked https://grist.org/climate-fiction/imagine2200-a-holdout-in-the-northern-california-designated-wildcraft-zone/ which is free online. The author also has a book coming in May, set in the same world. Also great for short stories is https://solarpunkmagazine.com/

@snarklestiltzkin@c.im @Ruth_Mottram@fediscience.org I looked at Proton due to the free plan, but realised I was going to need a paid plan due to my email storage. I then found Mailbox.org and went with them as similar cost but also green energy hosting. They also had a function that migrated all my emails for me. https://mailbox.org/en/why-mailbox/
