@diemkay@hachyderm.io @nickofnz@mastodon.nz likewise in Hungary. Though, I wouldn't build the 2nd plant because of the water issue. We must learn to work with nature not against it.

@dademurphy@toot.community @janvlug@mastodon.social @purism@social.librem.one I only use my phone to call or text, have a couple of official apps I can't live without in Denmark, and for travel. everything else I can do in a browser.
What exactly am I walling myself off from? People who didn't care about me?

@ml@ecoevo.social citizenship in Denmark has nothing to do with education. You must live here for years (latest is 8 years), have a PD3, have continuous employment, no gaps in resume, have clean police record, not even a parking ticket, and then hope for the best.

@ZachWeinersmith already 35 years ago, my then fresh-out-of-college, and newly-wed math teacher complained that she can't use a cookbook because it assumes you know how to make basic stuff.

@MLE_online broccoli is a member of the cabbage family. Just like cauliflower, kohlrabi, and of course all types of cabbages.

Now and then I search the internet for hemp, nettle or other plant-based, eco-textiles and I always encounter the same challenges. I cannot find 100% European products. There is nettle textile. You’d think, here’ s a ubiquitous “weed” that's fast growing, requires no care, and an excellent rawmaterial for durable textile.
Then almost all I can find, talks about Himalayan nettle. No thanks. Why is it so hard to produce anything entirely in Europe? And don’t say labor costs.

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social I have already ditched MS. Still have my 13 years old laptop that works just fine without it

@joho@mastodon.online @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu I've recently compared flying and train travel between Copenhagen and Budapest. Train costs 4x more than flying and takes 18-24 hours. I don't mind the hours but the price difference is huge. I still don't know which one I'm going to choose.
