The article says that back in 2021 someone stated “We have been to the moon, and yet we still do not know how eels sexually reproduce” — I mean Jesus, obviously the reason we’ve got no idea is because we’re looking in the wrong places! But I think the claim can be taken to mean "the equivalent of a small, consensual, and entirely virtual, kiss on the lips." -- but definitely good if we can get clarification. I previously assumed it to be an awkward kiss just above the left eyebrow.
