#DidYouKnow that #Massospondylus is a genus of the #sauropodomorph #dinosaur that lived in southern #Africa during the Early #Jurassic period, between 201 and 184 million years ago.

It was described by Richard Owen in #1854 and is one of the first dinosaurs to have been named.

Voting in the #WikimediaCommons Picture of the Year 2023 image competition has ended, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on #Wikimedia Commons.

This years winning photo was taken by user Trantuanviet, Which depicts #incense sticks being set out to dry, after being dipped in the incense solution, and was taken in Quang Phu Cau village, on the outskirts of #Hanoi, #Vietnam.
