Sebastian Z HAS MOVED

@Mastodon Cool that you crowdsource. But no need to use g forms and then apologize for it. I like to use https://framaforms.org/

@actualham Same vibe at my Uni where they hosted a „digital privacy day“, meanwhile the whole infrastructure got moved to microsofts cloud apps

@mainz_sozial_digital Mainz meine Perle! Holt mal die stadtverwaltung auf eure instance, ist ja peinlich wie die auf mastodon.social rumdümpeln… GaLiGrü und weiter so mit der guten Arbeit!❤️

@fesshole@mastodon.social omg analogue email-aliassing

@robtherunt Makes me wonder, if I also encountered connectivity issues with the .fr instance… Still, its so nice that you get a whole workspace with drive storage and collaboration possibilities with only one sign-up on cryptpad instances!

@robtherunt @Mastodon In general, I like cryptpads offerings because of its simplicity! But in the same vein, it often looks too rudimentary to me for truly enjoying using or recommending it to friends. Frameforms (Yakforms) just looks more polished, allows visual materials, and has some nice email options as well. Still, it always makes me happy to see when community projects offer a cryptpad instance!

@forteller @Gargron Second this, Zen Browser is awesome! Also, a dev went trending today for releasing this extension that removes AI settings: https://toot.community/@corbin/115888621237358712

@zenbrowser Finally!! great work!

@rcmd Watcha doing with that thing? Cloud? backup? Server?

@rcmd nice! do you have online access? i‘m also thinking alot about private backups and archiving, but missing the money - a few SSDs in line might be feasible

@rcmd aah amazing! i also have an old Pi lying around that I never really got to….maybe it‘s time to mess around a bit

@maartje woooow this could get really big! congrats!!

@AstroMikeHudson Ayy which OS are you on?

@AstroMikeHudson I‘m also on Mac, i understand that the bugs are too annoying for you! For me, the number is not too much and I appreciate that the project is in such active development and just keeps getting better….but sometimes new updates bring new bugs which also leave me really frustrated.

@simoonsp@mastodon.social ouff genial

@vwbusguy@mastodon.online @MichelPatrice@jasette.facil.services @libreoffice@fosstodon.org also throwing @protonprivacy@mastodon.social Docs in here, functionally simplistic but lookwise amazing!

@vwbusguy@mastodon.online no true, Proton is not based on LibreOffice, just got reminded because Drive+Docs were mentioned, but right, it doesnt fit here after all :))
