@danielalbu@mastodon.gamedev.place Computers used to be so much fun back then. The variety of software and lack of uniformity resulted in some amazing creations. No "platforms" and no "ecosystems" simply innovation and creativity. Be it in what we called programs, games or the hardware itself. Fun times.

@matthew_d_green Ok then, so Bitlocker is basically unencrypted. Why use it on anything then and suffer the overhead? Just dump it and use something else.
@darktable@photog.social There's an sense of uneasiness about it in Darktable's UI. It's isn't well defined. A bit too wide and too high. It makes text feel a bit stretched in all directions causing the interface to not feel as tight as it can be thereby increasing the general sense of confusion.
@darktable@photog.social Frankly, It needs a UI overhaul to make it more elegant and iniviting (dareisay inspiring?) It looks way too complex and technical. Even changing the main UI font would be an improvement.

@jon@social.vivaldi.net @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net I Just wish Vivaldi had a more aggressive ad blocking that's on par with Brave. Nowadays, it's almost a requirement with all the intrusive junk. As it stands, Vivaldi's blocking is not as efficient.
