@glennpegden@infosec.exchange No RIC 0 is just in my firmware, I'm not sure I've seen any "production" pagers that alert on all RICs its a kinda strange use case for real network hardware, but was useful for me in debugging!
Most pagers allow 8 or more RICs to be subscribed to though, Bleepie allows 32. Things like group messages or info services used dedicated RICs

You can have multiple sims with their own plans on the same web login though.

But I regularly get 100Mbps+ and 30ms pings in Bristol/Somerset

@nblr yeah its the first non-moto flex one I've acquired, I think i saw a Phillips one listed, and I believe some of the new Swissphone ones are flex. There's still a live flex network in the UK on Critico (previously PageOne)

LIttle client feature that would make the fedi a nicer place, whenever you compose a post and attach an image prompt me to enter alt-text by default (with a cancel button) rather than having to then go into the image and add it manually.
