@steltenpower@social.edu.nl wat veel bedrijven tegenhoudt zijn hun medewerkers, die vaak ronduit vijandig reageren bij suggesties om teams, outlook of excel door iets anders te vervangen. Heb dit bij ons wel gedaan, nu bijna een jaar geleden en ben eindelijk bijna van het gezeur af. We zijn met 60 collegas, ik wil het gemekker niet horen in een bedrijf met 6000 zielen. Dit zit heel wat dieper. Het moet allemaal makkelijk zijn, en normbesef is een kwaliteit die bij veel nederlanders en belgen ontbreekt.

@TrVr@mastodon.green thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm aware of that... but lowering 7 to 5 kW peak is difficult when everything is electric and there are two electric cars to charge. I'm in a luxury situation and I know I shouldn't complain since I can pay these taxes without a problem. My frustration is that the current system does not stimulate people to go full electric and to consume high amounts of electricity when prices go negative.

@TrVr@mastodon.green will look into my automation settings and give that a try. I heard from a good source (connected to politicians) that they are considering to stop charging for peaks during negative hours... but in Belgian politics even if everyone agrees that will still take time. Thanks!
