How it started vs how it’s going

Hello!
Welcome in! Have a seat, get comfortable, and prepare yourself to take a trip back in time.
I would like to take you a time before the internet, before 3d graphics, before even the likes of Nintendo or Sega. A time when your options for virtual entertainment were limited to the few systems that connected to your television set (the Atari VCS (later renamed the 2600) and the Intellivison), a home computer (such as the Apple ii, Commodore PET / 64, or the Radio Shack TRS-80), or your local arcade, where you'd have to feed coins into machines by the fist-full.
That's right, the goal if this jam is to find a game from before the video game crash of 1983 and Nintendo's revitalizing of the market and recreate it today in your own way. Digging something out of the far reaches of obscurity and bringing it back to life today.
im sick of the nintendos and the xboxs and the playstations.
i want a small cheap console that can fit in my pocket that indie people can make and sell games for like $1-8... im sick of the $500 console and the $70-80 games.
The NO ICE in Minnesota charity bundle on itch.io has already reached it's $100k goal and it's only been just over a day since it's went live. There is still a month left to get the bundle.
Please, if you haven't already, go pick it up, tell a friend, spread the word. It's $10 for over 1000 independently made projects made with love by the itch community and all the money going to a good cause.
3 of my games are in the bundle also, so you'd be getting my games Heavy Trucking (for the Playdate), You Donut Get It, and Parking Ticket Mayhem in your collection.
here's the link:

There is also links in the description of the bundle if you'd rather support the charities directly.
EDIT: they've upped the goal to $500,000.

Gamers really be out here spending $8 on a lovingly crafted indie game and then get upset once the free content updates stop coming.
Like, pick a side, either get used to indie gamedevs not being at your consumerist beck and call or go play Fortnite.
Kinda crazy all people needed was a little tomodachi life to life their spirits
i know i basically fell off the face of the earth for like two whole years, but im looking to make a slow comeback. I don't have any big project that i've had in the works to come back with, unfortunately, but I do plan on doing the May Wolf game jam next month to make a little furry visual novel for y'all to enjoy.
I also have plans to host a game jam over the summer, more to come on that as soon as i can get it all worked out.
Thank y'all for being patient with me, it's been a long past couple years and im trying to find my way back to doing stuff i enjoy.
