I'm an artist (short animation films, interactive art installation, micro-games) and academic (philosophy of technology, media archaeology, media arts history, cultural, gender, & queer studies). Haeckse.
I welcome every nice and queer(-friendly) person, especially from arts, science, technology, and animation to join me in making this world a bit of a better place in exchanging ideas and in supporting each other!

@melaniebartos #Fediverse #Enshittification #glt26 Sehr toller Vortrag! DANKE!

Usual fedi rabbit hole dunking: I've just found a most inspiring TED talk by @annaleen@wandering.shop on how to escaping the world's problems (first) in order to possibly solve them: https://www.ted.com/talks/annalee_newitz_how_fantasy_worlds_can_spark_real_change
Love it! 💚

How fantasy worlds can spark real change

How fantasy worlds can spark real change

When the world's problems have you weary, journalist and science fiction writer Annalee Newitz suggests a good dose of escapist fiction to refresh your perspective. Step into the whimsical world of science fiction, cosplay and "goblincore" to see how fantasy worlds help us reimagine our relationships with our communities and each other — and why the best way to solve your problems may start with escaping them.

@selzero sure. but on the other hand not so sure - now there is at least a little chance that the next elections will turn the actual disastrous picture. If Vance & CO take over I'm not so sure. And then, it might even get worse... 🫣
