@remixtures@tldr.nettime.org Well this sounds horrible

New blog post! Why computing isn't as fun as it used to be. I talk about how moving to macOS made everything work — and become kinda boring. I also talk about my thoughts on how boring AI makes technology. https://pirategoddess.net/blog/computing-isnt-as-fun/ #Tech #Blog #BlogPost #techblog #AI #computing #ArtificialIntelligence #Technology

I just created a new blog, and to celebrate I'm doing something I've never done here, creating a proper introduction! I'm a 20 something American #trans woman who's currently researching #polisci and studying #cybersecurity. I'm very passionate about #politics (I don't know exactly where I land, but somewhere on the far left lol). I've been trying to help build a strong local community where I'm at. Organization & community is one of the best defenses against fascism! As is direct action! I also really love music, esspecially hiphop. My favorite artists right now are, in no particular order, #Doechii, #SZA, #KendrickLamar, #BillyWoods, #KaliUchis, and #LittleSimz. https://pirategoddess.net/blog/introduction/ #introduction

@Viss@mastodon.social @skeletor@mas.to Real

@propublicaguild @ProPublica Very disappointing from the ProPublica management, fully support the picket line ✊🏾

@johnlago@mastodon.social @viticci@mastodon.macstories.net Right! I’ve been using Photomator as a Lightroom replacement for the past couple years and I’d be devastated if it went away!

@Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net Congrats on 8 years, looking forward to the future (especially iOS)! 🎉

@nothacking@infosec.exchange @kajer@infosec.exchange Beautiful 🤩

@peter_mcmahan@mas.to That's really sad. I've been loosely following OpenAlex since it started after Microsoft Academic shut down, sucks to hear they've gone down that path. @tuomov@mastodon.social @bluebells@tldr.nettime.org @tante@tldr.nettime.org
