@crimsonfall@mas.to @nycki@bark.lgbt it isn't perfect but just to mention it. Teamspeak6 implemented matrix for their chats and they do federate which I find pretty cool. It isn't perfect and they got quite some quirks last time I checked (e.g. non-spec compliant image implementation). But you can write someone in teamspeak from your own homeserver or the other way around. That's at least some synergy.

@lina@vt.social That is (yet another) sad development to hear about. I just hope CTFs will be made/hosted regardless. I have never cared too much about the time and more about finishing them and it'd be a shame if that option of learning were to disappear or get way less accessible.

Just heard of a rumor that discord is supposedly banning people that post imaged containing something grid-like (chess board, excel sheet, keyboard etc). Supposedly an automated moderation gone rogue. Something about CSAM having been posted with grid pattern overlays to "fool the AI" and discord adjusting their model on that and it now throwing false positives on many things with grids. Does anyone else know smth substantial?

@drakocxjo@dragonchat.org If you don't want any extra program you could just pack title + tags into the file name and search by that. Another incredibly low-tech offline version would be creating an index, like a txt with : on each line and letting them use ctrl+F to find what they want. Similar for each tag. Not really super user-friendly though but it'd be useable for non-tech ppl Just gets annoying when you need to add/remove/update the indices.

To taking the metaphorical punch or hit and not retaliate in kind. The one that does having a better/bigger character than the other. That's at least my understanding.
