I LOVE AI I SLOP ALL THE TIME ART IS DEAD AND HAS NO VALUE
holy shit amiga forever sucks
"no DRM"
means you get a fingerprinted copy with your license key and a setup that decrypts ROMs at runtime
lovely!
protip: x86 is getting truly obsolete
if you want to mess with 32 bit stuff, it's already on the way out, and it's going to get harder as time passes
distros are dropping support, hybrid build of haiku is in a sorry state
epic failed so bad by not making a knuckles sidekick
imagine all the & knuckles jokes you could make
sony should return to their old controller designs, dualshock 4 and dualsense are not as comfortable as their older stuff
why did font rendering on windows get so ugly?
it used to be… decent
remoting into a mister over SSH from emacs is so cozy
I get all my nice stuff inside of my local session to poke at config files, use dired to manage stuff, run remote shells and whatnot while the device is running on the side
shoutout to NetBSD just… picking up an ethernet card instantly, no configuration

I just noticed that the box of rice I have has a badge saying it has the name printed in braile. The sign is just a printed thing. So like, what is this, some sort of mockery? Oh LOOK this thing has braile on it, too bad that the intended audience can't SEE that because it doesn't matter either way.
Like what the actual fuck?
I swear the NSO virtual boy with a switch 2 is better than real hardware, heck even a switch 1 is
time extension has truly devolved into crashout posts about someone having used AI

The very first public release of The GIMP (0.54) had a community plugin written that did the map to sphere thing that was later turned into the spinny ball animation.
ever dealt with a thinkpad that's 20+ years old?
I swear I bought rubbery go with a laptop somewhere inside
I just ignored a kernel panic in haiku, an USB related assertion failed and you panic at me? no you don't, you'll boot like nothing happened
things you could technically do I think:
run a voodoo with an old laptop by breaking out to PCI from cardbus, just the most unhinged eGPU (more like external 3D accelerator ha ha) setup imaginable
Bryan Johnson trying to not die? He should've started by becoming a catboy to get extra 8 lives.

The GIMP, from before GTK, wrapped up in a flatpak you can run on a modern distro. Pretty lovely, so many things are consistent with modern versions, including the threshold tweaking for the fuzzy select tool, which is like one of my favorite things. The best UI was shockingly decent even back then.
Stockton Rush is a good rich guy. Not only did he off himself, he took a bunch of billionaires down with him.
xjack could live to this day, adding ethernet ports to slim laptops
ngl, nugget laptops can be fun, you can get an entire toy to play with for peanuts if you want to experience an old thinkpad and make it do things
even certain sought after models can be snagged for cheap if you search around, like the 600x I got, a beat up one and stuff, but I have one!
I think editor wars people do not even bother beating up nano people because of the worry that the lack of braincells will rub off on them
I'm somehow using emacs 30

lazy prompting tier: telling the agent to fetch code review comments and address them by itself
