I love the idea of neighborhood IT
I wish but neighborhood barely works for social exchange and common good, so "IT", don't hold your breath.

It goes without saying that whoever comes after #Trump, be it even a Sanders like or other progressist, US should not have any more lever on international politics than any other countries and we should leave the dollars and their mil bases should fuck off our lands.
That's what "No more kings" should mean.
I learned, via a lobster post, that KDE 3 is still being maintained through the #trinityDesktop project [1]
Not sure how viable it is but KDE 3 was feature complete to me back then and the last desktop I used and for the longest time until I ran Gnome Shell from 2015 to 2018.
It could be a good alternative to XFCE for those needing a desktop experience and why not, FreeBSD's main offering.
Need a little polish though, those icons were already out of place in 2005. :)
"Dungeons & Dragon Honor among thieves" is actually a very good surprise. I was afraid to find the same slop than in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" but we are at light years from that.
A good ol' adventure movie on its own. A story, some characters, some stakes, an end.
A movie you just watch, enjoy where your suspension of disbelief is never challenged.
I'm not a D&D player but I was not lost and wouldn't care if it is far from the game.
Anyway, I hope they get their money back!
the only positive thing about #ARTEMIS is that it will shut the fuck up of the no moon-landing ass.
still, I think it is a waste of money and just flex. And Apollo proved that it changed nothing for the 'mankind'.
Despite the tech, all the knowledge, we have ongoing wars, social issues and ecological disasters.
So no, there's nothing to cheer about Artemis.
I'm a amateur astronomer but not a space nerds..
Got the details of my last hospitalization, nothing severe fortunately, they charged me more for non-medical - and non-asked services than the care itself.
My heath-care covered a big part - 80% but even for them, I find what has been charged pretty excessive.
Hospital/health-care business could need better scrutiny.
Probably due to their own "insurances" charging them a premium.
Which leads to the question that the insurance field too should get more scrutiny. :)
