@danirabbit I feel like tobacco is a much better analogy because cigarette smoke poisons everything and everyone around the user, whereas heroin users just poison themselves. Plus tobacco has massive corporate backing and marketing, heroin has dudes on the street corner slinging dope. And nicotine is actually far harder to quit apparently.

@Nonilex I wonder if it would be possible to create some kind of polymer that binds it all back together so it can be extracted in huge chunks and properly recycled or something.

@parismarx@mastodon.online Fortunately there are other search engines which still work, and some even let you block AI results. Setting google to only search results from before 2019 also helps, but it doesnt work for image searches for some reason.
