@aral@mastodon.ar.al "Rights are for people not states" Amazing. I'm going to start using that one from now on. Along with: "Rights are for people not Corporations"

@thed34n@mastodon.social Theaters showing ads (other than trailers)... bleh. Sounds like that one in particular made the experience better atleast.

@drewph@ieji.de @palin@mastodon.social Given that modern cameras are all internet equipt, any footage can easily be feed into an AI. I mean, running facial recognition over the footage would make catching criminals easier... There are probably some hardware differences in the cameras themselves, but as far as I'm concerned a camera is a camera.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Any law that doesn't originate from public demand is 9 times out of 10 an evil law. Also 23 Vs. 4 is shocking.

@anon_opin@mastodon.social but are we 100% sure they know that? It could be life changing information.

@anon_opin@mastodon.social ... how tho

@MurrayWindripper@fosstodon.org @Tutanota@mastodon.social Yup, also true. People can be trusted to *try* to act in the best interests of them and their community. But often act in somebody else's best interests. e.g. Maga Or just act stupidly.

@attoparsec@clacks.link I walked out of a public bathroom in my city to see an outcropping like that staring at me. Seemingly they didn't have any tax money left over to restock the soap.

@pixelfed@mastodon.social This has happened to me thrice. I honestly don't understand how people are able to use Insta. Not because it's bad, but because of how difficult it is to keep an account for more than a week.
