Watching The Hours (2002) foe the first time. This is one of many movies I somehow missed. The early 2000s was a period when I wasn't watching a lot of current films, and I also don't even know of this made it to Monterrey where I was living at the time in theaters? I was also not spending a lot of money on movies. Nicole Kidman is unrecognizable. The cast list is, incredible. Along with the main three, we have Toni Colette, Allison Janney, Margo Martindale, Claire Danes, John C. Reilly, Ed Harris, Jeff Daniels and music by Phillip Glass??? This is totally up my alley

We just watched Leviticus (2026). Didn't know it was an Australian movie, so I can say that the message I got is that some parents are absolute cunts.

The Hours (2002) was pretty good but didn't rate it as high as I thought I would've. Nicole Kidman won an Oscar for this but I feel like that should've gone to Julianne Moore or Meryl Streep instead. And that's only if we stick to this movie. That was a year where Nicole was the weakest of the list, not that she doesn't deserve an Oscar but not for this.

Started S2 of Patience and realizing the actress that played DI Bea Metcalf left the series 😞

I was using a service to remove things from my Media Server that had been already watched, but I recently removed it because it was making a mess of things. Today I discovered it deleted Tasmkaster NZ and that there is currently a season airing that I have been completely missing!

@Richboy50@woof.group hubs stopped his GLP1 at once and he didn't have any negative effects, it took him several weeks to get back to "normal" hunger levels but he also managed to get used to the smaller portions he was eating during it. He did do it for longer though. He did end up having some gallbladder issues due to the rapid fat loss and now he's going to have it removed

I've been trying to read La Casa de los Espíritus, in its original Spanish. It's a very convoluted and detailed writing style. She spends a LOOOOT of words telling the story and I'm unfortunately not enjoying it. My ebook loan has expired and I don't think I'll be renewing it. I need a more books in Spanish though, I love reading in my native tongue.
