That went incredibly well and I am going to be in pain about it tomorrow. Setup started at noon, teardown at 9:45, and home by midnight.

Hey #Seattle, Luminata is tomorrow! Celebrate the turn of the season with a parade of lights. Opening ceremony is at 7 at the Greenlake Aqua Theater (SW side of the lake), procession begins at 7:30 and heads north to Seattle Public Theater where there will be illuminated art installations — including my own Orb Project! It's free, no tickets required, just show up and join the crowd.
Thoughts and prayers for everyone stuck on I-5 today 🚲🚈
I did a ton of weaving today, on the thought that catching up on that is one more way to bring things closer to Normal. I've woven through the burn, and it's driven home two things:
- I was there for a full eleven days
- The weather here took a significant turn while I was gone
So yeah of course it's a rough adjustment.
We crossed under thirteen hours of daylight a couple days ago, but I wasn't paying attention. I'm finally starting to catch up on my weaving, though.
Someday I'll be able to take a shower without crying. For now at least I can take a shower.
Did my mood crater this hard and for this long after the burn last year? Honestly, it probably did, if only because I slammed straight into two weeks of isolation.
