Thinking about government support contracts for FOSS projects:

Let's say a government like Germany is finally getting around to setting up an OSPO (👋 @bsi@social.bund.de ), wouldn't that be the ideal entity to do support contracts for FOSS projects like cURL? Wouldn't it be super interesting to have FOSS engineers contracted in the case of a cyber cyber emergency and in times of the "high quality chaos"?

How do you keep up with your Mastodon timeline?

Some days I just don’t have the time or energy to scroll through everything, and I end up missing plenty of popular toots or boosts.

What kind of tools or clients do you use to address this?

(For me the general "trending" feature does not work, because I'm only interested in my own timeline, not in trends within my instance.)
