Just a few posts on relevant subreddits I think would be fine, with respect to the subreddit rules about advertising, meaning show any interesting features of your game, ask about loved mechanics from similar games etc and try to engage with the people there on good faith.
A very small thought on solar punk, is that solar punk advocates for making the quality of life of everyone better, but also if people's quality of life was better why would they overconsume or pollute?

I have no experience on this at all, but if they are made from rubber perhaps a combination of a tire rubber patch for bicycles along with liquid rubber on top might do the trick?
Now the job hunt begins!!!

Honestly, just browsing these subreddits you will often see posts with what everyone is building and what features they are implementing etc as they try to engage with the community and see if there is general interest in their game. Just browsing the subreddits I think will give you a good idea of posts that are useful for engagement and posts that are not. Have a nice day!
