Dog walkers of Mastodon.
When it's time for walkies do you have a set path, a variety of path rotated/alternated, or dog's choice?
Or does someone else make these choices?

@kibcol1049 My epson uses bottles of ink. Costco has ink sets on sale every so often, no date codes. I don't print a ton and my initial ink from purchase 1.5 years ago is still going strong. And each ink is a separate bottle. The only issue I have had is a bit of blurring after a long period of idle and the auto feed for the scanner being fussy.

@mattblaze@federate.social I had trouble sleeping during that period. The jets would fly over at pretty regular intervals. There were no other planes flying, just that F16 or whatever every x number of minutes All.Night.Long.
I had an F18 fly really low over my house yesterday. No car alarms, but really loud.

@jaykuo@universeodon.com Even if she is "The First Lady", a press announcement by her would have to be arranged, scheduled, vetted, etc. Lots of people knew this was going to happen at that spot, at that time.
Just piling more lies and fake stuff onto the bonfire of lies. More smoke and fake doubt. The facade is weak and crumbly , trying to shore it up with more blatant falsehoods is just desperate. I guess getting Nome's old "flying f*ck palace" isn't a big enough gift to keep her quiet and away from a mic.

@RickiTarr@beige.party Mom was a functional cook. Her mother died when she was in college ( early 1950's) and she returned home to take over the house. She had a repertoire of 'comfort food'. That expanded with the advent of frozen and boxed convenience foods. The depression and WWII shortages influenced some of the choices. A Sunday roast and veggies was turned into hash, we had gardens for fresh vegetable in the summer. Fridays were some fish product, sticks, salmon molds, creamed tuna on toast or rice. Jello molds, canned fruits and vegetables. Pizza 'kits' , and later 'chinese food' in multipart cans. Goulash, spaghetti, fried chicken , Beef Stroganoff, stuffed cabbage, stuffed peppers.
Nothing spectacular, but little was wasted.

@evan@cosocial.ca There is ( on Mastodon, because I don't frequent the corp sites ) one type of posting I hate. Dozens of short ( probably about 140 characters for some stupid reason ) posts that appear in reverse order on my timeline. Most Mastodon instances support at least 500 characters and a sizeable number support 2000.
Use them all before clicking Post.
Write the whole thing out in a text editor and save the whole thing where it can be accessed at once and put a link to it.
I get stream of consciousness posting, sadly most of the time it sucks and i mute it for a day.

@brianvastag I really want to tell them that if I felt the transaction was somehow thrilling and fulfilling that I would provide a review unasked.
As it was I found the transaction bearable, just bearable. Do you want that review?

Pop a ciabatta in the toaster oven.
Crack an egg in the frying pan. Break the yoke, and as it firms up I put 3-4 very thin sliced Spanish Chorizo on top. When the eqq is mostly done I flip it over, turn off the heat and put some nice cheese on top.
The ciabatta gets a smear of dijon mustard and I lift the egg out of the pan to leave most of the chorizo grease in the pan. Serve with a small bowl of mixed berries and a glass of black cold brew.

@delila Back when I was doing the morning walks before work I walked a pretty fixed route. The dogs knew it, and it adjusted over time.
With my current dog, I have 5 or 6 ~1 hour long daily walks which I alternate for novelty.
There are an equal number of shorter 2nd walks that I like to mix and match.
She will tell me if the walk is not what she wants, but I don't always acquiesce.
Sometimes I let her lead.

@HowardGees@mastodonapp.uk That reminds me of 2008 ( and again in 2012 ) when Obama won the US presidency.
Sporting goods flyers that came with the newspaper had multi page Assault rifle and other firearm "election specials". Not very subtle at all, but Go USA!.

HA, Ha, HA. I just love April 1.
What a great find in my follow requests.
It's my Karen Day!
I needed the laugh.

@cass_m@mstdn.ca Sugar water is available in so many shapes and sizes, most of which don't require freezing. Healthier probably means "shelf stable" which has it's issues. Don't miss stirring the chunk in the bottom of the pitcher.

@HowardGees In certain circles that certainly is the case.
The a majority feel otherwise, but the 'lawmaker' feel constrained by the threat of violence from "Second Amendment" fanatics. Not hunters, but gun cultists.
