My favorite part of talking to @compnerd@fosstodon.org was hearing why he brought Swift to Windows at all.
Learning about his conviction about the language plus a bit of stubbornness. If you believe a language is good, you want it where the people are, and most desktops run Windows. And everyone said it wasn't practical, so he wanted to prove it out.
He'd already gotten Swift on Android and even PlayStation. Why not Windows?
