When Observable replaced ObservableObject in iOS 17 it was missing a way to stream changes. That was fixed in iOS 26 (swift 6.2). #iosdev #swiftui https://useyourloaf.com/blog/swift-observations-asyncsequence-for-state-changes/

Today’s annoying SwiftUI on iPadOS bug (FB21091507):

When presenting a sheet on iPadOS that contains a searchable list the search bar is not 100% visible. It seems the scroll view offset is slightly off. You need to scroll down slightly for the search bar to be fully visible. #iOSDev #swiftui

@groue@hachyderm.io thanks, that’s very kind of you 👍

I'm assuming the new Observations API did not yet make it into Xcode 26 beta3? The release notes suggest the issue with it not being available is fixed? #Xcode #iOSDev

@jaanus@iosdev.space interesting. I've not had an issue with macOS tests as far as I can remember

@brentsimmons@indieweb.social That sucks! What do they mean by “excessive bot traffic”? Is that something you can even control?

@dimsumthinking@mastodon.social yes, I was just hoping to play with it when I realised it's missing.

@dimsumthinking@mastodon.social so you didn’t buy from the MAS? Not sure what you would do in that case

@dimsumthinking@mastodon.social I think you need "Pixelmator Pro" from the Mac App Store (at least that's what it says I have installed). The creative suite version seems to be called "Pixelmator Pro: Edit Images".
