Still compiling. Still shipping. Still learning.

My son and I are in Ireland and just had to do the Guinness tour and get our images laser printed on the pint.
I have a lot of work to do to catch up with my son. The tradition is that you are supposed to “split the G” on the Guinness label on your first gulp. Mine is on the left. They say if you sip Guinness, you aren’t drinking it properly.
This is why I continue to do what I do. I am pleased that my efforts don’t go unnoticed and that there is still a place for content creators.
Another site checked off my bucket list. The Cliffs of Moher.

Part 5 of my Swift Network Manager series is here 🚀
We go beyond GET requests and build real CRUD operations with POST, PUT, and DELETE using URLRequest, JSON payloads, headers, and auth tokens.
Build apps that actually talk to real APIs.

I am going to start writing more blog posts now since I have a web site that makes this easy to do. These will be for things that do not warrant a full video. Here is the first one.

I use @tapbots@tapbots.social Tapestry for Bluesky and Mastodon. On the iPhone I see crossposts notification, but not on iPad. Have I missed a setting on the iPad to enable this?

I decided, because I cannot trust Apple and UPS to ever deliver new hardware to me on time, \ to have it shipped to the store. I spent $5000 on a new Mac Mini with delivery by today, Sept. 22. It is 4:00 pm and even if I do get notified it is too late for me to get to the store. I don’t get it.
