@clew@ecoevo.social @tom@labyrinth.social @b0rk@social.jvns.ca yup. Links back to every source it had used and to every form or document it felt was involved. If you think of a government compliance process where there are X steps and Y forms, the multiple rounds of RAG allowed for finding everything related. Then the large context window analysis could return things like what might be missing in an ongoing process or document set. Again though, everything cited and linked. People get very particular about it when they face legal action.

@tom@labyrinth.social @b0rk@social.jvns.ca yeah, my team made this at a prior company. The audience was lawyers and government professionals in a fairly specific, though complicated, compliance vertical. The first result of our user testing was 'we refuse to believe any generated results without links back to source law'. A multiphase approach using RAG and then a large context window yielded incredible results, but it was definitely heavy and costly.

@silvermoon82@wandering.shop I am going to be only slightly more ethical than your average LLM by actually TELLING YOU that I am stealing this to use it day to day...

@alpha good old "No code is faster than no code". Reminds me of the secondary Tumblr stream back at Simply Measured. What was requested? A near copy of the production infrastructure with all the servers, bells, and whistles. What did I actually implement to solve it? I just piped the backup stream to a log file and told Linux to log rotate every day. 30 lines of code and config, but ask Claude and it would have happily written hundreds of lines of Java/Ruby for me ....

@mattblaze@federate.social I enjoy all of your photographs, but I think I have developed the opinion that your photographs of Philadelphia are my favorites. I don't know the art or terms of photography well, but something about the architecture being grand and not brutal combined with your style combines extremely well.
Also I just wasn't sure you had hit your quota of random internet folks giving you their opinions of things yet today. So doing my part. Hope you have a good weekend.

@josephholsten@mstdn.social so, if I make chili AND THEN place it on top of separately cooked beans... still a foul?
