maybe i'm just a radical but i think it should go the opposite way actually where for any permission an app asks for you can choose to grant it in a useless dummy way that doesn't actually give any information

i made a little function a while back (few years ago) that uses find and fzf and passes the selected directory to cd, and honestly that completely changed the way i use the shell. the specific function i wrote only really works for bash and zsh afaik, but i don't see how something like that can't be done for any other shell

i had this little samsung phone 13 yrs ago that had little buttons and a d-pad thingy and i liked that a lot …
it also did have touch obviously but it was perfectly usable without it… it was small and fit nicely in 13y/o me's hands
