@ariadne@social.treehouse.systems this and, producing huge gobs of code that combine multiple ideas and end goals in a difficult to follow fashion, which seems to be a result of all vibe coding, is an unreviewable habit. Breaking up the output of a vibe prompt into reviewable commits takes longer and is harder than just coding the commits myself I’ve found

@rmondello@hachyderm.io making passkey UX user friendly. Most of the integrations with webauthn I know of make it hard to tell a) what is (not) happening when things go wrong and b) where the passkey went and sometimes even c) why there is a passkey if the user already had another auth method

Technical problems are fixable. The underlying people level issues that led to the technical problems, however, may not be, which leads to perpetuating the technical problems much longer than might be reasonable.

@munin@infosec.exchange yeah it’s weird but I do think paper lookup or dedicated database lookup is basically the only way to get proper accurate information when needed anymore, online broad search is all but ruined by SEO combined with slop
