@Arcanoraptor@furry.engineer @soatok@furry.engineer Blood cannot be stored for very long (about a month) and we decided that it's icky to pay people to give blood, so there's always a need for blood donations.

@gusseting@mastodon.social @Elindur@retro.pizza It was a "timed exclusive" deal, with the newest season on HBO only before moving to other places, though English Wikipedia claims the show has moved to Netflix for first runs.
Sesame Street is not leaving free-to-air channels like PBS; episodes are just coming out a bit later.

@KayOhtie @gabu @nikitonsky I think their use of the word "rasterization" doesn't necessarily mean outputting to pixels, in the computer graphic sense. It probably just mean creating a buffer of terminal cells to be displayed, from a description of interface elements.
But I do also think there may be a delusion that the problem they are solving is unique and require a bespoke solution, while in truth this is a common problem for which there are existing solutions.

@gabu @KayOhtie @nikitonsky It's not as crazy as it sounds. Many TUI apps use libncurses to perform the same ANSI command optimization, as well as maintain a list of virtual windows including their positions (i.e. a scenegraph).
However, it's highly unusual that the scenegraph is constructed using React.

I've never been good at building up chance encounters at conventions into long term relationships, but focusing on recovering from con exhaustion this year meant I really didn't socialize outside the regular meetups.
And realizing that I'll soon be 37, that's a... problem.

@jun@fursuits.online that's a shame. They have a very good reputation not only in craft but also in business.
I heard a Korean fursuit maker has been uncommunicative with clients for two years due to getting eye surgery. I wonder if a similar situation is going on.
