@mynameistillian@plush.city glad to hear it went well! ​​ i think going to therapy is a great opportunity to process everything you’ve been through, all the trauma leading up to this moment. i know that’s what i used my first few therapy sessions for, before we pivoted to just sharing music with each other lol it can be cathartic, tears will be shed, but having that space, that someone to be there for you can make all the difference in the world. and that isn’t even just about therapy, you can feel the catharsis while talking with friends as well

has anyone made a list of LGBTQ+ -led open-source projects yet? i plan on trying linux in (hopefully) a few years with an MNT reform next running elementaryOS (both made/led by genderqueer folks), so i might as well stock up on some apps to try out when i get there not really looking for anything in particular. if there is a list, i'll look through and see what catches my eye. i'm not a gamer or a coder. what i was most curious about is a photo editor, a video editor, and a digital audio workstation (DAW). if there aren't any LGBTQ+ -led projects in that area, i'll take any that have had LGBTQ+ folks meaningfully and regularly contribute to it of course, i will consider their stances on other things (palestine, LLMs, etc.) as well. i am by no means a single-issue voter thanks! #askfedi #linux ​​
