@opensourceopenmind @organicmaps I just quickly checked and @CoMaps just gives you the option to put in a custom server. Considering they have the same license, you could probably even cherry-pick the commit. I get the frustration with this and I get if there is a certain feeling of harassment. I myself feel the same way about Flathub (I know we are talking about F-Droid here), but they make the rules. Plenty of people consider not being able to change the server an anti-feature. While I personally couldn't care less on an open-source offline navigation app, it is trivial enough to just make the URL configurable. If you want the F-Droid people to treat you well, you got to do the same to them.

@kokoa_@misskey.resonite.love you have parents? =O

@emma@raru.re I would just try it with a "sacrificial" one. Most padded things I ever tried washing didn't care. (Bicycle gloves with gel padding, bicycle gloves with textile padding, motorcycle clothing with armor) The only somewhat padded thing I had trouble with was ties; The padding was loose on the inside and got moved around and folded during, ruining the ties. I would expect "washing bras" to be one of those things where it is impossible to get good information because there are way too many people who will confidently tell you something completely made up.

@trezzer@social.linux.pizza unfortunately not. I bought it used. It is very Chinese though, so Aliexpress would be the place to look. It is pretty cheap (hot glue and bad solder joints), but it gets the job done.

@byte@awawa.club @elly@donotsta.re you mean you get to go to the government office, but you also get to go to the government office to make an appointment at the government office?

@kokoa_@misskey.resonite.love I love how they still haven't fixed the two yen symbols appearing im front of Windows shares. Microslop never needed large language models to write bad code.

@elly yeah @plasmamobile is killer. I have been using it for... It has been so long, I am not sure even. 2019, so 7 years maybe. It was my daily driver for both my school tablets. (Both tablets still run it, but I finished school with them 😎.)

@elly@donotsta.re fixing Linux smartphones at 5 am.

@anno@misskey.io Kate is great for coding. If you want GTK, then @GeanyIDE@social.milchreislieferei.de is nice. If you want a proper IDE, I would recommend CLion. I actually use all three of them. ; )

@espidev@fosstodon.org I noticed things happening there. Great work! I was hoping to use Plasma Bigscreen as a UI for a movie and emulation system for my living room. Good to see it getting enough maintenance again.

@elly@donotsta.re funny enough, I just have a text file for my Google Wormdingler.

@morc no, I am not.

@elly another one of those people who speak C. As opposed to Linux, Windows doesn't even have that locale.

@jenbanim me running PiHole on my router 😎

@elly@donotsta.re so no Matrix Meetup?

@rio@kawane.misskey.online you live in the middle of nowhere. Just get a Chinese conversion kit and ride it without a license. ;) For real though, in your situation getting a drivers license seems like the best choice. There is no telling how long your grandma will be able to continue walking and driving. Then suddenly you have a car sitting in front of the house and a grandma who wants to go places or wants you to get mulch for her flowers or something. On the other hand, getting a used motorcycle is probably reasonably cheap where you live and is quite fun and useful. Maybe I could come for a visit someday and we could go on a motorcycle tour. ;)

@leenaars@mastodon.social we (@overte@fosstodon.org) got one more to add 😎

@leenaars@mastodon.social haha, we had no idea you guys made them, so we designed and printed a simple version ourselves. (Some lessons were learned about the print quality and the size of the white borders, but I am still pretty satisfied.)

@akiRAM@misskey.resonite.love is that a Kokoa blob shota smartphone case?

@kokoa_@misskey.resonite.love *takes off VRChat to complain*

@kokoa_@misskey.resonite.love oh no. Be careful, you don't want Claude to develop dementia.

@conservancy@social.sfconservancy.org as someone who owns a Bambu Lab printer you got my "sustainership". I honestly had been closing my eyes here. It was suggested to me that even when printing in LAN mode, everything I print still gets sent to Bambu Lab and I deliberately didn't check in case it is true. I mean, as a consumer, what are my options? Just throwing a 1000€ printer away? (Those are rhetorical questions.)
