Yet Water Was

@bodhipaksa@mastodon.scot Can you give a quick tutorial on how to describe images?

@ElleGray@mstdn.social I really love this. I remember one of the early astronauts (Buzz? I have tried to find the quote numerous times but can't) saying in an interview something like "I wish I could take every politician up there, and grab them by the neck and make them look at it all. 'See, you bastards? Do you see it?'"

@todrobbins@social.coop Herbert was a visionary beyond belief... "It isn't that power corrupts, but rather power attracts the corruptible" -Muad'Dib

@ian@hachyderm.io I think it's safe to say that we ALL need to see this pic.

@guilevi@dragonscave.space I am not visually impaired, but I won't boost or interact with images that lack alt-text. I also take great pleasure when someone has taken the time to write a proper alt-text description as it often adds to the image itself! #VisuallyImpaired #AltText

@kangaloonatic@aus.social @bodhipaksa@mastodon.scot this is great, thank you!

@chani@neurodifferent.me @KeanBean@kolektiva.social @bodhipaksa@mastodon.scot I also don't see alt text on these (phone app)

@wchr@mastodon.social Microsoft Edge: The most popular browser used for installing other browsers.

@csullivan hey, welcome to Mastodon, hope you enjoy it here! Love me some Flipboard, and glad to see it here! I don't know for certain, but I have read a number of times that hashtags within a post wreak absolute havoc with text readers for the visually impaired, and it's generally better form to group them at the bottom of the post. #VisuallyImpaired #CamelCase
