@rtyler I have to admit that I'm really happy that GitHub engineering seems to be centered on the US west coast and I'm in Europe.

@operative@mastodon.social ASUS ZenWifi devices can do that. I'm using two ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8) at home connected with a dedicated 5 GHz wireless band which work quite well.

Me, spending an hour to set up a child account in iCloud so that the little one can use an iPad for 15 minutes a day only to find out that iPadOS doesn't support multiple accounts on a device. iOS and macOS naturally do.
FML and WTF is up with iPadOS?!

@raroun @markus_netzpolitik Theoretisch kann das ganze ohne US-Infrastruktur laufen, derzeit nur nicht ohne Code einer US-Firma.
BlackSky hat gezeigt, dass ein eigener Appview mit eigenen PDS durchaus möglich ist und das läuft dann auch ohne Bluesky noch weiter.

@britter @rotnroll666 The current memory crisis will subside once it’s clear whether the demand stays stable or whether it’s an unusual spike. Memory vendors will scale up their production capabilities if it’s a stable increase in demand.
Unfortunately that will take a while and until then hardware for consumers will stay scarce and expensive.
