Kotlin's success has made its support of producing binaries only 3 minor versions back too rigid. I wrote a post about it and I would love your input.

It is awesome when you find a company really stands behind their word. I bought a PeakDesign backpack in 2016, last week a zipper broke, reached out to them, and they send me a new bag as each bag has a lifetime warranty. That is just awesome! I wish there were more companies like that.

@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange I think it is really difficult to maintain and sustain more than just the latest version of a piece of software, which then in turn leads to fixes shipping together with features. Having had to back port security fixes to an old version of Android I really feel for picking the lowest cost way out.
