Working in technical consulting for AI stuff. I like finding weird techy stuff and music on the web and learn by tweaking. I'm a #straightedge #vegan and on the #autism spectrum; I’m also a drummer, dad, partner, #antifascist and cat companion; special interest include Star Wars, the Alien franchise ("building better worlds") tattoos and vinyls

Just deleted all my Twitter/X stuff and thought I'd tell you about it.
Hey fellow @fediverse people!
Do you know of any website/collection/whatever that is like The Odin Project, but for Java development?
I'm talking guide, tutorial, exercises all in one. I loved the Odin Project (shout out to @annasara@social.linux.pizza for recommending it in the first place), it gave me a great start in becoming a JavaScript developer, and now I'm looking to expand my horizon.
Thank you all in advance!
Thought of the day: while I can't get quite used to the vocals of Lorna Shore - Austin Archey is s*** f****g amazing.
Thank you, carry on.
Different topic: where do all the drum enthusiasts hang out around here?
Asking for myself cause I am one too and want to community about that.
#askfedi Quick question: who here is using #keystonejs and if so, why?
I'm currently using it as the admin data maintenance backend for an app that works as a portal for users to input and submit data. And I love it!
So I'm done with my bootcamp now and I learned a ton - I can full-stack develop stuff with React and Node and I had an amazing time building projects and I even already found a new job with a company that I believe will just be awesome and a really really cool experience.
Just wanted to share that, thank you.
Hey fediverse, question for the people working in Germany: do you know anybody who is working for Ratbacher IT Solutions? Any insight in that company from an employee's perspective, especially from a dev or member of a scrum team would be mich appreciated!
Here's a pic of my car companion for your troubles!
