@j-g00da@donotsta.re

I just need few more weeks to finish the first issue. I think I can make it by the end of July. I really hope you will like it, it’s one of the most “me” things I did to date, whatever that means. CC0 btw. https://kamiokan.de/entropysrotoscope #entropysrotoscope #art #comic #unix_surrealism

What the hell is wrong with github? This is getting ridiculous. It was getting flakier and flakier for quite some time now, but I'm not able to view _any_ pull request for 24h already lol. They have an ongoing "search incident" that makes some items not visible in lists. Oh and a week ago they had incident that reverted random merges on random repos. It's second time in two months I'm contacting support.

How is it that I feel thousand times more confident about services hosted by queer people on their 10 year old desktop located in the basement than the ones hosted by billion dollar companies with top infrastructure?

I don't want to be the person to point out why this happens, but it's hard to not make a connection.

I feel it’s not far from being finished but I can’t tell the moment. There are still few things I would like to rework but idk. Maybe I need to start some other painting and give this one some rest. #art #painting #surrealism

Some summary of recent events for people not living in Poland:

So a russian missile hit us “by mistake” again. Today, everyone got an SMS from MSWiA (ministry of interior security and administration) via emergency messaging system saying just “be prepared” (lol) and a link to gov site.

They said a few years ago that emergency messages will never include links (they lied, and it’s not the first time, as this system was once used to remind people to vote lol).
It wasn’t a proper URL but just a domain (for a mild inconvenience).
Everyone opened it which DDoSed the site.

@kallisti@infosec.exchange also funny thing, I just went for milk right after playing these and well, I wanted to also get cereal. Out of irony of the whole situation, I forgot and came back with just the milk.

I got “milk vibes” comments on both kamiokande dreams and entropy’s rotoscope before and I finally played both milk inside and milk outside. Yeah I get it lol. Also can recommend both games.

After like 3 (or 4?) years I finally decided to get canvas, paints and brushes and start painting again. Work in progress; “Radio Waves Over Helgoland”. #painting #wip #art

Epic continuation of events, just to show you how bad it is: since yesterday I got THREE more SMS from a darn emergency system warning me “hey it’s hot, drink water”. More: they turned on air raid sirens for no reason today, again. I swear, when the war starts we won’t know until it’s too late.

I draw this stuff with no computo. The only digital processing after scanning is conversion to 1bpp with imagemagick (except for the cover art where I layered an analog photo I took in an abandoned factory and drawings scans).

I wish there was some kind of speedrun talk format like lightningtalk but a bit longer, 10-15min or something. Or maybe lightningtalk that ends if you don’t speak fast enough? Idk. I found out I prefer making lightning talks than regular ones, yet I wish I could cram in more standup comedy while not having to prepare much more content beforehand.
