I understand it’s tough to live somewhere that’s only built for everyone driving everywhere. It’s hard as an individual to change the system. But instead of smugness, I see them as examples that cities *can* be built better.

@courtcan Is this ”not all men” but for the US? I understand it’s frustrating. It’s frustrating from the outside too, waiting to be the next target of your president. It’s hard to know how to formulate any short social media post taking all of that context into consideration. I wish you all the best and that you have the strength to keep going.

@davidbcohen@twit.social @gwynnion@mastodon.social I understand that is frustrating and might make you feel powerless. I guess the problem is people just giving up, and many buying bigger cars. Which stay stuck in traffic, politicians feel they need to build and widen roads, decreasing walkability. And repeat. No individual can change it on their own. But it would be nice to break that cycle. Cities that solved some of these issues as examples is a good thing. I’m sorry it feels scolding.
