Mocking projects for considering laws is childish. Fight the root cause, not someone's work. Remember, major operating systems are complying. If it gets bad, applications will follow and require age verification on OS level. Stop ignoring laws, fight them

@nazokiyoubinbou@urusai.social systemd provides a lot, this doesn't mean we have to use all features. It's certainly not the most elegant project, but still makes the life way easier. Why should people move on a whim in the first place? It has yet to be proven if systemd is heading towards enshittification.
I feel sorry for developers, they don't deserve death threats over lines of code people can actually verify.

@jannem @jorge some people still believe doing everything Arch way is what's Linux all about. This model has never worked for everyone (including linux developers), yet they'll claim user is the problem.
I appreciate you mentioned there is no correct answer, there are multiple ways to fine-tune the system. But Linux users are crazy, sometimes I have to distance myself from them.
