So after years of Bluesky specifically targeting Palestinians - even the Palestinian-American filmmaker Lexi Alexander! - and making the site nearly impossible to use for them, the userbase of Bluesky has descended upon Molly Shah, one of the only people with larger accounts dedicated to verifying & advocating for Palestinians, forcing her to deactivate.
I think it's safe to say that Bluesky is a Nazi site. It's not just the staff. The userbase is equally putrid.

i feel like breakups wouldn't be so life ruining if weren't denied meaningful connections & community. romantic relationships are the closest many of us get to real community - like, people you're actually *integrated* with on a daily basis. we're social animals but we live deeply, deeply antisocial lives, and our partners are often our only escape from that.
i'm not going to keep posting the screenshots because there's too many but there's currently a massive ban wave happening on bluesky because the head of trust and safety keeps banning people for mentioning that he liked jailbait porn on his work account, and screenshots of the suspension emails for those bans have been getting dozens to hundreds of shares, prompting even *more* people to talk about his affinity for barely legal teens
