Making comics while dealing with a messed up spine XD

I've finished another chapter of a comic that will be released soon somewhere in this cyberspace called the internet.
This is a draft of the cover, and I'm glad it didn't need to go through an approval process, because I'm buried in work and going almost crazy.

Another batch of scanned sketches over on my blog.

I've been sick for almost three weeks, spine problems and such. I'm not one hundred percent and probably never will be again, but capitalism doesn't allow us to rest or recover, so I'm slowly getting back to work, even though I have to slow down the pace and the hours I can spend sitting.

Out of all the pages I've drawn for this project, this one was the most fun and the fastest I've ever done.

PS: It wasn't fun just because I drew the character's butt, just so you know, okay? This comic isn't even NSFW, it's an action comic.

Brought it over from TikTok.
To be honest, if I could, I would focus only on this social media platform. I love it here. But the artist life is harsh, and capitalism forces us to be on every platform out there to try to get freelance work and reach an audience hahaha.

Do you know what makes drawing comics more fun, at least for me?

It's that I'm always surprised by something new when I take on a freelance job. I always have to draw something I never would have thought to draw before, figure out an unusual scene, and so on. Those things are fun.

Oh, Sue, Sue, Sue...

On Reddit, there's a sub called "r/drawme" where people post a photo of themselves or of a pet, and anyone can draw it if they want. I consider it a great warm-up exercise and will do it from time to time. This was the first one I did.

Well, after a few weeks I was finally able to sit down and type something out.
I'm dealing with another problem now. This time, they suspect it's something with my cervical spine, and I also have a gallstone (which, fortunately, hasn't caused me any pain... so far). This is keeping me from working for even longer, which has been driving me desperate.
But what can you do, right?
