Three environments I drew for someone’s worldbuilding project.

:bugcat_fire: Harvester Woods :bugcat_fire:

People avoid this deep forest that is home to towering trees and the old demons of Persevera, but not the Greenscouts. Greenscouts often come here to forage. Over thousands of years, they have learned how to survive without engaging in combat, because there is no chance of winning against the old demons of Persevera.

:ablobfoxbongo: These are older explorations of Bushtrees. They are a type of bush with vines that petrify as they get old, so the insides can continually get trimmed as the bush grows bigger, and eventually left alone to petrify once the inner cavity is large enough to live in.

(1/2) Can you recommend a name?

I'm designing the cavernous depths the Mauler Knights use as their sanctum. I haven't come up with a name for it. It will be where they hold rituals and eat the bodies of their enemies.

It needs to be called something you yourself would feel like going home to. Like even if you're a hulking monster of a human, you wouldn't want to go home to "Grotesqueville" now do you? lol.

This was another world map I drew as more of an illustration instead of a regular map. It’s for a commission.

I just finished drawing this double world map for a commission. It’s the coolest map I’ve ever made 💪.

And this is the interior exploration of the Bushtree. The interior is petrified and fireproof so bonfires won't burn it.

:ablobfoxbongo: Before & after of a map I made back when I was still an embryo fresh out of high school and a map I made in 2024. It's the same region of a continent. Sadly the map of rest of the world is gone, but I still have it in my head!

:ablobfoxbongo: Here's a new look of how you could end up if you catch this disease called...The Crabs.....

An expansion of lore from the previous The Crabs drawing + lore I did for Persevera, my worldbuilding project.

I made a video of it on my YouTube.

I noticed I'm starting to have a solid, consistent style now. I still don't what to call it.

It at least looks grainy, with a lot of black, which I'm not afraid of using.

Sometimes I'll draw cartoony when I'm not drawing serious. I might even draw anime, but they will always look grainy with a lot of black.

RE: @velgatheobserver@mastodon.art

Somebody added:

Steel Rest
Mauler’s Haven
Warrior’s Respite
Iron Sanctum

as a good name for the Mauler Knights' sanctum. Any other suggestions?
