The reddest-winged blackbird I ever did see. (I did not tweak his wing colors. They're that red.)

When birds look at you front-on, they're actually focusing on what's to the left and right of them. Or so they say. However, when an osprey is looking directly at you, it means you're annoying him.

Today, some kids called out to me, "Mister, mister, hey mister." Which is fair. I'm definitely a mister. They wanted me to take a picture of the sunlight blazing on the river because it was beautiful. And then one of them went on to tell me about how if you look directly at it, it hurts your eyes. I think I love them.
After years away, I set up a Netflix account for the sole purpose of watching I Think You Should Leave. I will likely watch the entire series 4 or 5 time by the end of the month. I have no plans to renew as I couldn't find anything else I wanted to watch. And they keep recommending me anime for some reason. How do the Algorithms not understand that I don't care about anime, sports, reality TV, or Rogan-sphere comedians—at all.
I wrote a blog post about some tart keeping me up all night.
Sending well wishes to Eugene Mirman on the occasion of his horrific automobile accident.
