Instead of calling it Secret Santa, can we not call it Nondisclosure Claus?

My books on PayHip:
My third book:
'Stop, I'll shoot. I mean it,' Detective Sarah Byen shouted as she pointed her Glock at the woman who had been fleeing the murder scene.
The woman stopped, dropped her gun and slowly turned to face Sarah. 'You don't understand,' she said with a trembling voice, tears welling in her eyes.
'Men like these have been inflicting themselves on people like me for years. I'm not innocent, but every last one deserved it.'
After a few seconds, Sarah lowered her Glock.
'How can I help?'

Why don't electric cars have solar panels in the roof? The amout of time most cars spend either driving in daylight or parked in daylight would certainly renew some of their charge.
Can any of my fellow self-publishers recommend a European print-on-demand organisation? I'm using Draft2Digital, but the orders take a while to ship, plus the shipping charges. (Please don't mention Amazon!)
Thanks.

21st Jul 2026. Tell us about a non-fiction book you've enjoyed.
For Christmas, my son bought me Vagabond by Tim Curry. It's his life story up to and including his stroke and the long road to recovery. Great book.

@tojiro Great news! I have ours about 14 months and am really happy with it. I'm looking into getting a second battery, but waiting on prices.

@timixretroplays@digipres.club So glad I don't subscribe (personally) to their products. If I was starting a company, I would go with @libreoffice@fosstodon.org and #Linux

@jwalesch@cultur.social Neither of them seem to offer a site in english. I'd be wary of working with a site I honestly can't understand.

@markhurst@mastodon.social Our local school in Ireland tried that.
We protested. It stopped.

@The_T Having worked in IT at a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant I can confirm that lab devices after a few years, tend to be run on unsupported software and/or hardware. Also some are still running Java on WinXP 😄
It's just too expensive to upgrade.

@raymaccarthy@mastodon.ie Im looking into them now. Someone else recommend Book Vault, which are UK based, so I'd be charged a lot for shipping, customs...

@EuniceBook@mastodon.social Well it's based after the end of the second US civil war and the fallout from it. So current geopolitics inspired it.
