@ttpphd@mastodon.social having personal knowledge of the before and after, the claims of destroyed sensitivity and other dysfunction are without merit. My anecdotal personal knowledge is also supported by peer reviewed studies. I am concerned because the same anti-science animus appears more and more frequently in our country whether talking about flouride, pasteurization, GMOs, vaccines, and circumcision.

@ttpphd@mastodon.social Study after study has shown that circumcision does not have negative effect on sexual satisfaction. Nerve endings and pleasure and satisfaction are not the same thing. The public health benefits of circumcision are clear. At this point anti-circumcision activists are approaching the level of anti-vax, MAHA, anti-flouride charlatans. Certainly the Venn diagram of those has a lot of overlap.
