@dev@discuss.systems YES! As an owner of small company myself, i have been trying to talk to my shareholders about this terrible mistake. Goose was not valued (was nil) because she was written in a language without algebraic data types. While if Goose was written in Rust as it should, it would be Option. That's why we moved to Ferrogoose and we are back on Q3 honking deliverables.

i have to praise the _insanely good_ "LISP From Nothing" book from @AverageDog@mastodon.social once more. apart from the fact that on every page i think "i could never think or code that", it is packed with cool info. For example, when you compile scheme to C and you want to have, an instruction pointer of sorts to jump to your functions, how do you do it in a language that doesn't support computed goto without accumulating function calls?

for(k=0;;) switch (k) {
case 0:
k=apply(...); break;
case ...
}

Are you writing code tonight without some top deep/progressive tunes to keep you company? I knew it, that's why i have this set here for you ;)

since 2013 i've had the honor to run, alongside various friends on the way, a tiny obscure hacker community over at 2f30.org (mostly on #openbsd boxen). recently a cloud node died and they said "sorry this offering exists no more, there is no way to get your data" (lol). so i lost some mail users. Within the next couple of days at least 5 friends that i had lost contact over the years reconnected to get their new accounts. A testament to a rock solid OS, and a happy interrupt in the data flow.

@buherator @badkeys it is a wild theory but it is possible XD. nsd config accepts strings up to 256 chars in length and if you want a larger key you just have to split it into multiple strings that get naturally concatenated.
